A Primary / Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for nurturing young learners by providing a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. The role focuses on developing basic academic skills, social behavior, creativity, and emotional growth in early childhood and primary-level students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons based on the curriculum.
- Teach foundational skills such as reading, writing, numeracy, and basic concepts.
- Create a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages learning.
- Use creative teaching methods including stories, activities, games, and visuals.
- Observe and assess student progress and maintain academic records.
- Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of children.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and concerns.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure child safety at all times.
- Participate in school activities, training sessions, and staff meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education / D.Ed / B.Ed (preferred).
- Passion for teaching and working with young children.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude.
- Basic computer skills for lesson planning and reporting.
Experience:
- Fresher or 1–3 years of teaching experience (preferred).
