Primary/Pre-Primary Teacher

A Primary / Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for nurturing young learners by providing a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. The role focuses on developing basic academic skills, social behavior, creativity, and emotional growth in early childhood and primary-level students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons based on the curriculum.
  • Teach foundational skills such as reading, writing, numeracy, and basic concepts.
  • Create a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages learning.
  • Use creative teaching methods including stories, activities, games, and visuals.
  • Observe and assess student progress and maintain academic records.
  • Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of children.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and concerns.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure child safety at all times.
  • Participate in school activities, training sessions, and staff meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education / D.Ed / B.Ed (preferred).
  • Passion for teaching and working with young children.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude.
  • Basic computer skills for lesson planning and reporting.

Experience:

  • Fresher or 1–3 years of teaching experience (preferred).
