Store Manager

A Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store to ensure efficient functioning, excellent customer service, and achievement of sales and operational targets. The role involves staff management, inventory control, merchandising, and overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints or escalations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and prevent stock loss or damage.
  • Plan and implement visual merchandising and promotional activities.
  • Maintain store hygiene, safety, and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, stock reports, and performance summaries.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and head office for stock replenishment.
  • Control operational costs and improve store profitability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Retail Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and sales processes.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS or inventory software.
  • Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

  • 2–6 years of experience in retail or store management roles (preferred).

Work Environment:

  • Store-based role involving long working hours and customer interaction.
